Fairy Girls Post.....

Finally we got the rest of the material cut out and laid out on the floor............

Then Fairy Girl started sewing..............huge concentration..............pillow beind her back and the foot control on the little step and SPEED SLOW................she has one and a half rows joined...........hopefully she will get some more down today............

Wonderful, such concentration from Fairy girl! It reminds me of my mother teaching me how to use the old non-electrical sewing-machine! You needed one hand to turn the big wheel and the other to guide the fabric!

I love seeing young children at the sewing machine. The quilt is very pretty and she is going to be so pleased and proud of her work.

wow - the fabrics in the quilt are gorgeous and i love the fact that your daughter is making her very own quilt. emily got some fabric for her birthday to make her first quilt - but she is way older! lol

Fairy Girl is bigger than I'd imagined. Love seeing the young girls at the machine. Your beautiful bottlebrush card is proudly sitting above my machine.

Cute quilt! Fairy Girl reminds me of my dd when she made her first quilt! So much concentration! My dd loves fairies. She had dh paint a mural of her favourite oak tree in our back yard, her swing, and lots of fairies. It's quite lovely. So much hidden talents in dh! ;o) Thanks for sharing!
